In the 27th minute, Canada's Koby Wright dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose-Antonio Capon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Canada were awarded a corner. Koby Wright went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Rohan Watson advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 唐沙旭 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Canada's Jax Williamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save Canada from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rohan Watson in the 54th minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Remus Pinches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Rohan Watson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luka Harris scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remus Pinches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute Filip Edwards shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Pinches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canada's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomás Vollmar was slow to take the kick. During this time Diablos Rojos's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Canada's goalie and right to Jose-Antonio Capon. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Canada's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Remus Pinches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan Dixon in the 80th minute. In the 90th minute, Luka Harris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Pinches was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 93rd match minute, Diablos Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Henrique Cabezudo to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes, Canada's Nate Mills shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Remus Pinches came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canada reached it.
