Octavian Tâmbalari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Daniel Stângã got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lautaro Navarro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vadim Macovei was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Truseni's players had a chance to rest. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Dimitriu made a kick off. Emilian Vârtosu made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. In the 63rd minute, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The supporters of Honduras booed when FC Truseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Vrednic didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 71 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. Vladimir Barbãneagrã charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Octavian Tâmbalari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
