Atıf Işılay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semih Utku in the 14th minute of play. Atıf Işılay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf Işılay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Gökçek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Kuzeyin Çocukları FK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afşar Üke got free with Julio Vera in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Kuzeyin Çocukları FK's Atıf Işılay got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Kuzeyin Çocukları FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 58th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afşar Üke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69thth minute of the game Afşar Üke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afşar Üke's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 69 minutes, Afşar Üke made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 minutes, Daniel Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Kuzeyin Çocukları FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afşar Üke in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kuzeyin Çocukları FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
