Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Armando Paredes to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Pero in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The referee ignored ZAFIRO FC's protests and gave Teodoro Montrell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Daniel Zorita hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Marco Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Armando Paredes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
