If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play forced ФК КрасноДАР's goalkeeper Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ФК КрасноДАР's Kajetan Cetnar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 19th minute of the game. Andrey Savischev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 44th minute of the match, Benjamin Artmann got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 52nd minute. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match.
