The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaan Kaa was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaan Kaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 58th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Luís Fabiano Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaan Kaa in the 76th minute of play. Tymoteusz Sanocki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tymoteusz Sanocki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hannover Football Club made a substitution. 方朗默 replaced Dráusio Mendes. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wei Feng Yao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaan Kaa in the 95th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Hannover Football Club booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannover Football Club's Cícero Cearense couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hannover Football Club had played much better football throughout.
