Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Daniel Dimitriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Daniel Dimitriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florin Vrednic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Tâmbalari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Octavian Tâmbalari. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Octavian Tâmbalari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Octavian Tâmbalari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Octavian Tâmbalari came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Stângã came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Stângã in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Octavian Tâmbalari made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Dimitriu to make the kick off. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Vladimir Barbãneagrã hit a great ball. Joshua Secada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 69 minutes, Florin Vrednic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Truseni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florin Vrednic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Vladimir Barbãneagrã got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of FC Truseni booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Daniel Dimitriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Tâmbalari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Vladimir Barbãneagrã in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Tâmbalari having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Tâmbalari. FC Truseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Venezuela's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
