In the 17th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙挺卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 龙挺卫 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Harald Ennegren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vejbystrand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Peru. Luz Tejedor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving 龙挺卫. 1-1.

The wind increased when Harald Ennegren made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vejbystrand getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Torgny Valrot hit a great ball. Perivaldo de Lima lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Vejbystrand's Joachim Anselius was substituted for Harald Ennegren. Vejbystrand's Sonny Karlberg was substituted for Bengt-Rune Groth. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vejbystrand fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! 69 minutes into the match, Vejbystrand's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but 龙挺卫 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vejbystrand's 龙挺卫 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 龙挺卫 saved Vejbystrand from getting behind. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Sonny Karlberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Nordlund in the 83rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's Lars Bergqvist got a free kick in the 88th minute. Milagros Fraga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luís Faria hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Antonio Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 龙挺卫 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 100th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Peru failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
