The referee showed Manolo Letelier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Slight. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 minutes, Casimír Cavada made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulino Slight despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Slight read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Slight. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Rosalio Cavada hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Salamón Asencio was substituted for Odín Oliva. After 78 played minutes ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Rosalio Cavada. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight. Paulino Slight was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 89 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Slight. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
