With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Carles Pujol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menios Chloros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Ermis Xintarianos made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Francisco Carballar. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedim Emekli's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Nedim Emekli sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Mean Machine's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menios Chloros came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menios Chloros having to make a save. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mean Machine made a substitution. Nikos Kioupouroglou replaced Miltos Makris. Mean Machine's Luca Milivojević was substituted for Lakis Mantarinakis. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. With a little luck, Mean Machine's Menios Chloros got control of the ball when Orlando Casaus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa shot from long distance in the 87th minute, but Menios Chloros was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Guillermo Fontirroig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Menios Chloros made a huge save. 95 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Menios Chloros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mean Machine's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
