Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Gualterio Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Sasoin in the 7th minute of play. Evelio Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Sasoin in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Angel Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Eloy Mannuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Eloy Mannuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Evelio Sasoin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Sasoin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, CENTAURO's Evelio Sasoin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Eliseo Noboa came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Noboa couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Abella came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Angel Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Ferrant lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. CENTAURO's Victorio Argoitz was substituted for Angel Abella. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

CENTAURO made a substitution. Ramiro Estefan replaced Eloy Mannuel. The wind increased when Evelio Sasoin made the kick off in the second half. In the 64th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Sasoin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Evelio Sasoin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when CENTAURO's Evelio Sasoin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Jayvier got free with Benito Sanz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Gualterio Jayvier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 80th minute Victorio Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Argoitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 90th minute, CENTAURO's Evelio Sasoin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Gualterio Jayvier sent off a good shot on target. 94 minutes into the game, Victorio Argoitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Victorio Argoitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 97th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Argoitz in the 99th minute of the match. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 101 minute of play, and Evelio Sasoin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evelio Sasoin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. CENTAURO played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
