Xavi Iniesta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Elvio Pacho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 25 in the game by Teobaldo Phelipe from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Jimeno Atarrabi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jimeno Atarrabi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jimeno Atarrabi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Teobaldo Phelipe made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cha Fe FC's Elvio Pacho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Cha Fe FC from getting a goal against them. Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Hegoi Griful:s penalty. 93 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Elvio Pacho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 94th minute, Raimundo Burutzagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Cha Fe FC were the better team. Cha Fe FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
