Jonatan Bortzaioriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonatan Bortzaioriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jonatan Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Adolfo Batista sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adolfo Batista made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Bortzaioriz made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Adolfo Batista hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cañada Juniors's Abayhan Nedret got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jonatan Bortzaioriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Cañada Juniors's goalkeeper Jonatan Bortzaioriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Jonatan Bortzaioriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Bortzaioriz having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Sebastian Jaunzuria made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
