Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedict Baird took the kick off in the first half of the match. Agustín Saelices's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislav Dvorskiy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 4th minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Dvorskiy having to interfere. The throw-in from Felix Montenegro in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Resistencia Tayrona FC's Chale Galanes. Benedict Baird could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Dvorskiy saved Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Stanislav Dvorskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislav Dvorskiy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Benedict Baird could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ingmar Kracke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ingmar Kracke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Stanislav Dvorskiy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Dvorskiy saved Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting behind. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanislav Dvorskiy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Resistencia Tayrona FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Stanislav Dvorskiy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. The supporters of Resistencia Tayrona FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislav Dvorskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Ospetsu Villagarcia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ospetsu Villagarcia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Resistencia Tayrona FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ospetsu Villagarcia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 72 minutes into the game, one of Resistencia Tayrona FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Leonides Rioja got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Xusto Lasquibar replaced Mihnea Vasilian. In the 84th match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingmar Kracke to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Stanislav Dvorskiy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After 89 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Rioja. The throw-in from Primitivo Andino in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Resistencia Tayrona FC's Maore Tejerina. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Rioja during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Rioja to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Dvorskiy having to interfere. The Resistencia Tayrona FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
