Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Gelu Alexandrescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Nechifor Păunescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezar Cucu in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Cezar Cucu in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 21st minute, Petre Săliştean reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 2-0. Nechifor Păunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the Fotbal Club Otelul Galati defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nechifor Păunescu. The Fotbal Club Otelul Galati fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Păunescu should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the game, Liviu Şteţ threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when 龙冰文 tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play forced Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nechifor Păunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Nechifor Păunescu. Nechifor Păunescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Gelu Alexandrescu in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Nechifor Păunescu did a great save. In the 48thth minute of the game Facundo Cadaval who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Nechifor Păunescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nechifor Păunescu. That made the score 2-3 after 52 minutes of play. 56 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nechifor Păunescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 62 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Alexandrescu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Vali Cucu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Vali Cucu got a free kick in the 65th minute. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's Vali Cucu. But to his dismay, Vali Cucu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Păunescu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Alexandrescu in the 75th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Păunescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Cucu in the 81st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nechifor Păunescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luca Rouco was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezar Cucu in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Petre Săliştean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petre Săliştean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Fotbal Club Otelul Galati's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
