Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mira United FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Axel Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eriberto Bonadona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. Gregório Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregório Neiva in the 8th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 11th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva. But to his dismay, Gregório Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eriberto Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute of the match. Eriberto Bonadona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Bonadona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Nel Ybarbo in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. After 39 minutes Mira United FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Ademar Ramires hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregório Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Mira United FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eriberto Bonadona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th match minute, Mira United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nel Ybarbo to maneuver through the defense. Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Bonadona. Mira United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Bonadona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 67th minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Nel Ybarbo with Desiderio Henric as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Mira United FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Higinio Abar hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mira United FC's zone, Kevin Mastache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Bonadona came out of the goal and Kevin Mastache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregório Neiva in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Bonadona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Mastache took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Bonadona. Eriberto Bonadona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Santino Seco hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Colombia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mira United FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
