Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the game Johannes Ahlquist made a throw-in which Magne Blomqvist played forward. Kristian Odén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Ralles Bollklubb's Marcus Wester in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Wester in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Kristian Odén tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Marcus Wester capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Wester really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Colin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Kristian Odén in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 58 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Odén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Johannes Ahlquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Kristian Odén managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Ralles Bollklubb's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Odén came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 87 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
