In the 4th minute of the match, Charlie Bjurström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Bjurström in the 7th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Vallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of the match. DFP's Joel Vallengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Joel Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Stefano Lilipaly could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Joel Vallengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, DFP's Stefano Lilipaly sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 minutes of play, DFP's Stefano Lilipaly made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there!

After 53 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Kennet Martinsson made a great header on DFP's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 56th match minute, DFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Alebom to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Stefano Lilipaly managed to get in a good position for a shot. DFP's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefano Lilipaly was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Vallengren made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Joel Vallengren made a huge save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of DFP's goalie and right to Felix Montes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. DFP's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Joel Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Bjurström's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 79 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Inge Åkesson. DFP's Joel Vallengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save DFP from getting a goal against them. When DFP's Charlie Bjurström in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute of the match DFP got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kennet Martinsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Åke Löfgren hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Joel Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute Stefano Lilipaly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, DFP's Joel Vallengren got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because DFP had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
