Pipo Orihuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 5th minute of the match. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Pipo Orihuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck in the 7th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pipo Orihuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Gallo Crisis's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Pipo Orihuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Andino made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play forced Gallo Crisis's goalkeeper Pipo Orihuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pipo Orihuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Arias made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Gallo Crisis's Pipo Orihuela managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute, Brain Van de Schrieck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pipo Orihuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jilian Verhaghen in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pipo Orihuela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pipo Orihuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pipo Orihuela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. If Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Pipo Orihuela made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, Gallo Crisis's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Pipo Orihuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gallo Crisis's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pipo Orihuela came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pipo Orihuela made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st match minute, Gallo Crisis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nino Orihuela to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Pipo Orihuela in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pipo Orihuela could save by the left post. With a little luck, Gallo Crisis's Pipo Orihuela got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pipo Orihuela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. After 86th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Pipo Orihuela and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Pipo Orihuela however easily saved by the left post. Pipo Orihuela was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Gallo Crisis's Brain Van de Schrieck got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gallo Crisis throughout the match.
