The supporters of Ecuador booed when La Panchera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trendafil Katúrov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Vimaro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Florencio Oton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 이 호 made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Oton in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute of play forced La Panchera's goalkeeper 이 호 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
