But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Di Giovanni couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elano Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Black-White MH's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Elano Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Black-White MH's Tekin Erbelgin got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 47th minute of play forced Black-White MH's goalkeeper Elano Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Black-White MH's Severino Di Giovanni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cengiz Zorbey went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute Cengiz Zorbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Black-White MH's goalkeeper Elano Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Carballar. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Di Giovanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Black-White MH fully deserved thier win.
