But to his dismay, Baransel Tezveren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baransel Tezveren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Baransel Tezveren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baransel Tezveren in the 46th minute of play. ФК Цомбомания's Frasco Morales proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save ФК Цомбомания from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Baransel Tezveren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play.
