The corner led Legia Warszawa 【L】's Bogdan Poreda to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Legia Warszawa 【L】's Lech Trac got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro stood somewhat misplaced when Cezary Kucharski came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Szymon Grunwalski's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szymon Grunwalski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Szymon Grunwalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Cezary Kucharski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro. Cezary Kucharski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kucharski, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Szymon Grunwalski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legia Warszawa 【L】's supporters rose to their feet, but Szymon Grunwalski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Cezary Kucharski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cezary Kucharski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 35th minute, Bogdan Poreda made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Szymon Grunwalski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Luca Espinar's late challenge caught a Legia Warszawa 【L】's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Espinar helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. Lech Latkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lech Latkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa 【L】's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Lech Latkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 played minutes Legia Warszawa 【L】 got a freekick which was hit by Lech Trac. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 59th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa 【L】's goalkeeper Lech Latkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szymon Grunwalski scored 5-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Kucharski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Poreda in the 72nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lech Latkiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cezary Kucharski in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Legia Warszawa 【L】 made a substitution. Tạ Mara replaced Szymon Grunwalski. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
