Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rafael Lamberto took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Alan Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pink Floyd the free kick. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Cristobal Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Leo Tebaldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pink Floyd and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Leo Tebaldo. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Pardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Gartxot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Lamberto went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rafael Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute Cristobal Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fernando Vela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Gartxot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes, Jaime Pardo made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot. Fernando Gartxot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Primitivo Escribano came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Escribano couldn't finish the play. The Pink Floyd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paraguay were winning 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Pardo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Fabian Bihar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Lizer's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Pink Floyd from getting a goal against them. Rafael Lamberto struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pink Floyd. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leo Tebaldo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 75th minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. After having played for 78 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristobal Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Lizer in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Lizer in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Fernando Vela's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Vela helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Fernando Gartxot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Paraguay's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
