Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Osielski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Podowski charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piotr Podowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Santos Błeszno getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sebastian Niedziela was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Santos Błeszno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Niedziela to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Gisbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th match minute, Santos Błeszno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbigniew Banach to maneuver through the defense. Zbigniew Banach kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Santos Błeszno's Damazy Osielski got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Marut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. When Julian Koczara fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos Błeszno's protests and gave Julian Koczara a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Santos Błeszno's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Damazy Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Kryspin Badanowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Kryspin Badanowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Błeszno made a substitution. Wlodzimierz Marczyniec replaced Kryspin Badanowski. If Wlodzimierz Marczyniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Santos Błeszno's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Damazy Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Santos Błeszno's Wlodzimierz Marczyniec got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Damazy Osielski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacy Jakisz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th minute, Alberto Gisbert made a precise shot to the right of Damazy Osielski. Santos Błeszno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Juliusz Zagrodny hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Uruguay were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Santos Błeszno to leave the ground with a draw.
