Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Sobah Conchas made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sobah Conchas in the 21st minute. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Skene's Sobah Conchas. But to his dismay, Sobah Conchas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kåre Ugla, made in the 46th minute of the game. After 47 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Skene players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sobah Conchas was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Gregory Mäder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Mäder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sobah Conchas in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sobah Conchas in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Kåre Ugla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Skene getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sobah Conchas hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Mäder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sobah Conchas came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Skene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Hjortberg to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Kåre Ugla with Birger Karlstedt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Nordgren in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of Skene booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Skene were the better team. Skene's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
