Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gallo Crisis's Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Gallo Crisis's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pipo Orihuela came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathias Smets during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pipo Orihuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 45th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pipo Orihuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 52nd minute, Dimitri Rouvroye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pipo Orihuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Mathias Smets got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 79th match minute, Gallo Crisis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Smets to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pipo Orihuela. Gallo Crisis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pipo Orihuela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ief Van Geele during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ief Van Geele kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Gallo Crisis's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Pipo Orihuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
