An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 6th minute of play forced Corte di Camasco's goalkeeper Claudio Di Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 7th minute. Evert Helander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Evert Helander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Corte di Camasco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Mahir Akgün received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Mahir Akgün slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Corte di Camasco's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Di Palma came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34thth minute of the game Mahir Akgün who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Corte di Camasco's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Claudio Di Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Francisco Seco made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Corte di Camasco's Claudio Di Palma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Claudio Di Palma to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 57 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Mahir Akgün put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Claudio Di Palma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 62nd minute. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Claudio Di Palma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Evert Helander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Corte di Camasco's Ermanno Bucciarelli was substituted for Franco Bevilacqua. In the 83rd minute, Maximiliano Escribano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Claudio Di Palma in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Di Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
