After 13 minutes of play, Silas Beavers's Kubilay Gündeş made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Orçun Kayhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Orçun Kayhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orçun Kayhan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Silas Beavers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuzalp Saffet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Arturo Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yavuzalp Saffet during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Silas Beavers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuzalp Saffet to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Seco scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chiquito Martinez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orçun Kayhan made a kick off. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Chiquito Martinez made a huge save. İzzet Ungan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. When Arturo Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Arturo Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Chiquito Martinez in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Yavuzalp Saffet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiquito Martinez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 75th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Silas Beavers:s goal. The referee gave Silas Beavers a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Orçun Kayhan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. 2-1. A collision led to Silas Beavers getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Orçun Kayhan hit a great ball. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Silas Beavers were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
