Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Dante Lacasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emilio Spada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match, Armando Toninelli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 12th minute of the match Martesana Inter got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonio Pinti ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play forced Martesana Inter's goalkeeper Emilio Spada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Spada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Spada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Mexico's Luca Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Spada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Domina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Toninelli in the 36th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martesana Inter's Emilio Spada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Martesana Inter's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Emilio Spada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Loïc Pietri during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Loïc Pietri kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Loïc Pietri hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Emilio Spada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Toninelli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Pinti kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Emilio Spada threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 56 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Pinti came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Luca Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martesana Inter's Emilio Spada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 60 minutes Martesana Inter's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Emilio Spada had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Joel Gaona's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 66th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Spada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martesana Inter's Emilio Spada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emilio Spada. Emilio Spada yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After 73 played minutes Martesana Inter got a freekick which was hit by Loïc Pietri. 75 minutes into the match, Martesana Inter's goalkeeper Emilio Spada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. After having played for 76 minutes, Fabio Domina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martesana Inter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Domina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Spada having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play forced Martesana Inter's goalkeeper Emilio Spada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Spada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Donato Lobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute of play forced Martesana Inter's goalkeeper Emilio Spada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roger Ibañez fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martesana Inter's protests and gave Roger Ibañez a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Spada was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 98th minute. The score was now 0-4. The Martesana Inter fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
