Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Marquez Padolles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvaro Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. Alvaro Rudolfo came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alvaro Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Rudolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Alvaro Rudolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alvaro Rudolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play forced Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Alvaro Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Montenegro got free with Rolando Noboa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márk Sári in the 35th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute Coritiba Foot Ball Club were awarded a corner. Márk Sári went to the cornerflag to take it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Montenegro went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvaro Rudolfo. Alvaro Rudolfo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. A sloppy throw-in by Pedrinho Godoi in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Evaristo Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Marquez Padolles sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. In the 72nd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Rudolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Alvaro Rudolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coritiba Foot Ball Club made a substitution. Jonas Velloso replaced Fausto Romero. With a little luck, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Alvaro Rudolfo got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goalkeeper Alvaro Rudolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga.
