A collision led to Chorroarín getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eustacio Romero hit a great ball. Narciso Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Mastache during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Narciso Oinatz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 25th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixto Aragones to make the kick off. Narciso Oinatz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colombia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
