Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Liviu Zubaşcu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of bullfinches booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Zubaşcu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Liviu Zubaşcu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liviu Zubaşcu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave bullfinches the free kick. After 14 played minutes, bullfinches's Aron Costea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in bullfinches reached it. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Zubaşcu in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Eliseo Noboa got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Liviu Zubaşcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Zubaşcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebiu Surdilă went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. bullfinches were winning 0-4.

Narcis Banica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Aron Costea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Aron Costea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebiu Surdilă struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for bullfinches. 65 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Zubaşcu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Zubaşcu scored 0-5 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Eusebiu Surdilă sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Liviu Zubaşcu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-6. Alexander Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 80 minutes, Costică Glăvan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. bullfinches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Glăvan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the bullfinches players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Liviu Zubaşcu took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Edgar Ţopescu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, bullfinches's Costică Glăvan got a free kick in the 89th minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Edgar Ţopescu took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded bullfinches left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
