Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Erling Haaland started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mattias Sawyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Haaland in the 5th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Spike Bond sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Spike Bond notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Sawyer having to interfere. When Erling Haaland in the 17th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Thiago Pliego kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Mattias Sawyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Chile booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicky Sansom didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Memphis Grizzlies were awarded a corner. Albert Henry went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Albert Henry almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chile's Thiago Pliego did a great save. In the 35th minute, Brandon Branson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Memphis Grizzlies's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Sawyer came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mattias Sawyer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 47th minute, Chile's Alan Tamayo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alan Tamayo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chile protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alan Tamayo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Erling Haaland:s penalty.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Casaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Haaland in the 53rd minute of play. Mattias Sawyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erling Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Samuil Saldzhiev replaced Albert Henry. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Bates in the 72nd minute of play. Memphis Grizzlies's Mattias Sawyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Memphis Grizzlies from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute Sam Bates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Bates in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Sam Bates left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Memphis Grizzlies fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Felix Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Bates came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Memphis Grizzlies's Sam Bates got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Memphis Grizzlies support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
