Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Artemio Oliveiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Gagriel got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulino Manni kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Gagriel in the 18th minute. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Silvio Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Cazalla in the 23rd minute of the match. Artemio Oliveiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Artemio Oliveiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. After 32 played minutes Paragüil FC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Mirande. Felix Matai charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Matai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Gogo Gagriel sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute of the match Paragüil FC got a corner. Uruguay's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Fernendo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paragüil FC's Luis Fernendo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 41stth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paragüil FC's Silvio Hanni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Matai was shown his second yellow card after 47 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Paragüil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Matai didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gogo Gagriel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Oliveiro in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Artemio Oliveiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Silvio Hanni when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 65th match minute, Paragüil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Mirande to maneuver through the defense. Silvio Hanni came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artemio Oliveiro in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Artemio Oliveiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Artemio Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Paragüil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. If Gogo Gagriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Artemio Oliveiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. In the 89th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Oliveiro went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Oliveiro in the 93rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amancio Txeru hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paragüil FC.
