Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Roman Mehrtens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Mehrtens having to interfere. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Ture Vejlbo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Kerteminde Boldklub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Vejlbo couldn't finish the play. Tue Parslet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Kapala in the 16th minute. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Roman Mehrtens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 24th minute of play forced Kerteminde Boldklub's goalkeeper Roman Mehrtens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tue Parslet's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 31st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Roman Mehrtens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kerteminde Boldklub booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Eberhardt Osted in the 47th minute really tested Benito Sanz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tue Parslet to strike the kick off in the second half. Gerhard Guldager kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Mehrtens having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Kerteminde Boldklub got a freekick which was hit by Tue Parslet. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kerteminde Boldklub's Tue Parslet. But to his dismay, Tue Parslet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 68th minute, Tue Parslet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kerteminde Boldklub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 70 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Kerteminde Boldklub players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute of the match Eberhardt Osted sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Tue Parslet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tue Parslet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Tue Parslet put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tue Parslet in the 80th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Kapala, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Bertil Kapala might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertil Kapala ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Mehrtens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 86th minute. The supporters of Kerteminde Boldklub booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ture Vejlbo in the 89th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Vejlbo in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tue Parslet in the 95th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
