Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jarl Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Talavera came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Bergstedt's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Bergstedt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Mikael Bergstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. Stig Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the FC Blåvitt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gil Talavera went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Talavera in the 36th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Talavera, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rigoberto Mina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rigoberto Mina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 45 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gil Talavera was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gil Talavera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Blåvitt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Guillermo Mariano made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Camilo Gaos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Holm in the 64th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Talavera might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil Talavera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute Gil Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Talavera in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herman Kihlberg made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andy Robertsson immediately put the ball in play. Guillermo Mariano made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Blåvitt's Mikael Bergstedt. In the 82nd minute, Herman Kihlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, FC Blåvitt's Gil Talavera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Andy Robertsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herman Kihlberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. FC Blåvitt were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
