Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gil Talavera started the match with the kick off. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Talavera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarl Bredberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute Gil Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Talavera in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Gil Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Robertsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Talavera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Jarl Bredberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes FC Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Vidman. In the 56th minute Gil Talavera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Talavera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Daniel Zorita as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 65th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Andino made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felix Montenegro immediately put the ball in play. After 75 minutes FC Blåvitt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Jarl Bredberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Agustín Saelices showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Jarl Bredberg made a huge save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes FC Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Bergstedt. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gil Talavera managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Blåvitt's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil Talavera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarl Bredberg was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Blåvitt throughout the match.
