Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tudor Ponor got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Craques fc's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Silveira came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Ponor in the 9th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Craques fc's goalie prevented a goal. Giuseppe Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giuseppe Silveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Giuseppe Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Deportivo Craques fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giuseppe Silveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Craques fc's Giuseppe Silveira did a great save. In the 26th minute, Paul Floridong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giuseppe Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Tudor Ponor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giuseppe Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Ponor in the 44th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Tudor Ponor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Tudor Ponor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Craques fc's Danilo Salgado was substituted for Jimeno Urritz. After 71 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. 程鸿奕 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Luis Andino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Giuseppe Silveira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 75th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Deportivo Craques fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Ponor in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Salgado came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Craques fc's Giuseppe Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. Ediberto Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Ediberto Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
