Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Angelo Grabiel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Angelo Grabiel took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by River de Ramos Mejía's Christian Weets. But to his dismay, Christian Weets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mădălin Holban was slow to take the kick. During this time River de Ramos Mejía's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Alejo Maties to score against Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal. 3-0 after 11 minutes. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Weets succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 20th playminute. A collision led to River de Ramos Mejía getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Adriano Fontana hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Weets in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Weets. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Grabiel in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Christian Weets tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Weets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Alejo Maties ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 41st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Angelo Grabiel put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Mădălin Holban in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Bergessio in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Alejo Maties scored 7-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Alejo Maties's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the game, River de Ramos Mejía's Alejo Maties nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Eleuterio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Grabiel's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 78 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mădălin Holban who took care of the corner kick. River de Ramos Mejía's Mădălin Holban was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Eleuterio Maureo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-1 in the 79 minute of play. River de Ramos Mejía's Gabriel-Omar Batistuta was substituted for Gonzalo Bergessio. River de Ramos Mejía made a substitution. Celestino Eli replaced Mădălin Holban. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Maureo saved River de Ramos Mejía from getting behind. Tomas Illescas in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eleuterio Maureo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 86th minute Angelo Grabiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense.
