Milosz Walczaks short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugeniusz Marek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Milosz Walczak kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Eugeniusz Marek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 23rd minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Walczak in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Wiktor Wolicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Walczak in the 56th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugeniusz Marek made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugeniusz Marek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Wolicki in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Przemyslaw Hajto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazur Elk - koniec gry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Przemyslaw Hajto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Wolicki in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mazur Elk - koniec gry fully deserved thier win.
