Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robin Steckamp kicked off to start the match. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robin Steckamp went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Cris Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Lacasa's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Steckamp came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cris Courtois having to make a save. Cris Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Helge Lindgren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Francisco Carballar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, João Carlos Vianna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and João Carlos Vianna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Francisco Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Robin Steckamp:s penalty. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute Brian Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Finnman in the 41st minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. Cris Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cris Courtois made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Xavier Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cris Courtois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Cris Courtois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Steckamp in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Meireles during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mariano Lacasa 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. In the 87th minute Brian Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Cris Courtois made a huge save.
