Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ankaios Garofalis made the kick off which started today's match. Lionel Mesías scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 6 minutes into the match, Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Lionel Mesías sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced Gebrüdersdorfer SV's goalkeeper Stanislaw Tyszka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Lionel Mesías's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Gebrüdersdorfer SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel-Andrés Messi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Lionel Mesías kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute Lionel Mesías shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Gebrüdersdorfer SV's Lionel Mesías made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Gebrüdersdorfer SV players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
