Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Păvăloae started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 15th minute of the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Eric Păvăloae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Păvăloae came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Eric Păvăloae sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Eric Păvăloae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Păvăloae in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Păvăloae in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eric Păvăloae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Eric Păvăloae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rareș Tatulici who took care of the corner kick. Andrei Cosor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Eric Păvăloae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th match minute, Ninjas in Pyjamas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Pinatel to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Păvăloae went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Eric Păvăloae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Eric Păvăloae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the match, Eric Păvăloae notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Ştefan Istrăteanu in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ninjas in Pyjamas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
