Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Carvalhal in the 5th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 7th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Carvalhal in the 8th minute of play. Snett★inåt★bakåt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Kuse in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Ola Britz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Vollander, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Vollander in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 21st minute Valter Parve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ivan Vollander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Snett★inåt★bakåt's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. In the 37th minute, Fernando Carvalhal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Carvalhal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Snett★inåt★bakåt's Valter Parve got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snett★inåt★bakåt's goalkeeper Kenneth Kvarnström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Kvarnström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Kenneth Kvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kenneth Kvarnström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Kvarnström. Kenneth Kvarnström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Valter Parve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Fernando Carvalhal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Kvarnström saved Snett★inåt★bakåt from getting behind. The supporters of Snett★inåt★bakåt booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
