Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 袁思远 in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Máximo Banguero threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Máximo Banguero was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 28th minute 袁思远 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máximo Banguero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Sol made a kick off. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipe da Rocha went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filipe da Rocha. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Conrado Sol took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 汪诚政 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Filipe da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of MAN.UTD-阿贵 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MAN.UTD-阿贵 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
