Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elano Reis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luisinho Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Amadeu Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Elano Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Amadeu Negri threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Alan Campos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Clóvis Nunes in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Alan Campos. When Hermínio Reis fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Reis United's protests and gave Hermínio Reis a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Reis. Jaime Pardo's shot from long distance in the 21st minute was not bad at all, but S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 26 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Reis United's Luisinho Trancoso. But to his dismay, Luisinho Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Elano Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. In the 31st minute Elano Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. S.C. Reis United's João Paulo Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C. Reis United's goalkeeper João Paulo Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elano Reiss short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68th minute, Hermínio Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the S.C. Reis United defense, Hector Covarrubias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Paulo Urbano. The S.C. Reis United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulo Urbano should have stopped the shot. Enio Matorin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the game, S.C. Reis United's Henrique Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. A hard shot 86 in the game by Elano Reis from a close distance when the talented Jacobo Nores managed to make a qualified save. Paraguay's players were relieved. When the final whistle went the supporters of S.C. Reis United were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Paraguay side.
