Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 3rdth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALAMBRE de PÚAS's Fausto Bide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonardo Peru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. ALAMBRE de PÚAS's Leonardo Peru was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. Alberto Laffitte kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Bide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Baltasar Felipillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute, Silvestre Giro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fausto Bide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in ALAMBRE de PÚAS's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Bide came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fausto Bide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. After 46 played minutes ALAMBRE de PÚAS got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Ermengol. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Miguel Miralles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fausto Bide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of play. Fausto Bide didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Bide was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The supporters of Panama booed when ALAMBRE de PÚAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, ALAMBRE de PÚAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Bide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, ALAMBRE de PÚAS's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Fausto Bide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeronimo Ermengol hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
