Miroslav Motuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 5th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martin Zelenák in the 9 minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Milagros Fraga threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC XY's Martin Slaninka quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 14th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Motuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Martin Zelenák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslav Motuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Motuz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 34 minutes FC XY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miroslav Motuz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Zelenák, made in the 38th minute of the game. Miroslav Motuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute of the match Peru got a corner. FC XY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Mina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orhan Veli Mirac to strike the kick off in the second half. FC XY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Martin Slaninka in the 53rd minute. Adam Škrabák made a great header on FC XY's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslav Motuz was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Miroslav Motuz made a huge save. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhan Veli Mirac in the 71st minute of play. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miroslav Motuz came out and tried to block the shot, but Milagros Fraga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 79th minute. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. 86 minutes into the match, FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Gallo. Martin Zelenák made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 88th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Motuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Pavlovič in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
