The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Barbu in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the game Alfredo Rey made a throw-in which Emanuel Barbu played forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Swoboda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Barbu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Rey during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Salvador Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Emanuel Barbu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edmund Walentowicz.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Barbu to make the kick off. Emanuel Barbu took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 74 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 80th minute, FC Szczucin's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 81st minute Emanuel Barbu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmund Walentowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Badaz Kibøl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Szczucin made a substitution. Bernard Dembowski replaced Emanuel Barbu. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Bernard Dembowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Szczucin's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Dembowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Swoboda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Walentowicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. FC Szczucin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
